June 20 Seminar
"Terre Rouge Wines"
- Jackalope Grill
- 4:00-6:00 (Arrive 15 min. early.)
On Monday, June 20, Women Tasting Wine will feature Terre Rouge Wines presented by owner/winemaker Bill Easton. Terre Rouge, meaning "red earth", is located in California on the West Slope of the Sierra Nevada in Amador County's Shenandoah Valley. An artisan winery established in 1986 by winemaker Bill Easton and Jane O'Riordan, this reknown winery makes highly-regarded artisan wines from Amador and other Sierra Foothills-region grapes. The Terre Rouge label focuses on classic Rhone varieties while the Easton label specializes in traditional California varietals.
Jim Laube of Wine Spectator magazine, in his book California Wine, selected Terre Rouge/Easton as hia top-rated Sierra Foothill winery. Sacramento Magazine has called its tasting room staff "the frendliest" in the region.
We will meet on Monday, June 20, from 4:00-6:00 at Jackalope Grill, and the cost is $45.
To facilitate making your reservation for the June 20 WTW Seminar, we will be accepting credit cards as well as cash or checks (made out to “Women Tasting Wine"). You can drop off your check at Bend Wine Cellar Thursday or Saturday from 2:00-5:00. (Stop by Saturday and enjoy a complimentary wine tasting.) You can also call Diane (541-420-1213) with your credit card information. As the menu is a fixed one and not a la carte, please let us know at the time of registration if you have any food allergies. We need to have our final numbers in on the Tuesday before the event for the purpose of ordering the food, so payment needs to be received by Monday, June 13. Please note the cut-off date!
Remember, reservations are on a first come, first served basis and your payment is your reservation. Since we have to have our “head count” in by Wednesday morning, there will be no refunds for cancellations after 9:00 AM Tuesday, June 14, or for no-shows on the day of the seminar.
We hope to see you in June and at future monthly Women Tasting Wine Seminars!
